I was introduced to poi by a few friends at the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival in 2007. I was watching them spin glow poi and it was mesmerizing. It looked like they were having so much fun! I asked if I could give it a try and so they handed me a set of poi. A couple days later I bought my own set and from then on I have been exploring the spinning and object manipulation arts.

As time has passed these instruments of light have become a way of life and no longer just a fun way to pass the time. Exploring these tools has gifted me with a new found meditation and means of stress relief. My experiences with the fire arts have helped me to become a calmer, happier person. I love to dance and entertain and it is highlighted in my performances. I hope that via my performances others are able to share in the joy I have found from dancing and performing.

I currently perform with these various fire props: poi, staff, double staves, fire eating/fleshing, and fire breathing. I am also able to do LED/glow shows with poi and double staves, with more to come soon! I am located in Vermont and am willing to travel for events.
